چکیده
Cytochrome P450 proteins belong to one of the largest families enzyme in plants and play important roles plant growth development stress response. In our previous studies, a cytochrome gene, GhCYP94C1 (cytochrome 94C1), was functionally characterized as positive regulator seed germination, main root elongation early flowering. However, whether gene has other potential functions remains be further explored. study, expression analysis showed that was highly expressed roots suppressed by drought treatment. Endogenous silencing via virus-induced (VIGS) increased resistance cotton plants, which accompanied upregulated abscisic acid (ABA) biosynthesis nine-cis-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase 9 (GhNCED9) during stress. Our findings suggested may an role resistance. Combined with research results, present results provide theoretical basis for future breeding new varieties maturation

Mining and Analysis of SNP in Response to Salinity Stress in Upland Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
Salinity stress is a major abiotic factor that affects crop output, and as a pioneer crop in saline and alkaline land, salt tolerance study of cotton is particularly important. In our experiment, four salt-tolerance varieties with different salt tolerance indexes including CRI35 (65.04%), Kanghuanwei164 (56.19%), Zhong9807 (55.20%) and CRI44 (50.50%), as well as four salt-sensitive cotton varie...

Identification and characterization of CONSTANS-like (COL) gene family in upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
The CONSTANS/FLOWERING LOCUS T (CO/FT) regulon plays a central role in the control of flowering time in photoperiod-sensitive plants. Flowering time in wild cotton (Gossypium spp.) has strict photoperiod sensitivity, but domesticated cotton is day-neutral. Information on the molecular characterization of the CO and CO-like (COL) genes in cotton is very limited. In this study, we identified 42 C...
متن کاملQTL analysis for early-maturing traits in cotton using two upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) crosses
Making use of the markers linked closely to QTL for early-maturing traits for MAS (Marker-assisted selection) is an effective method for the simultaneous improvement of early maturity and other properties in cotton. In this study, two F2 populations and their F2:3 families were generated from the two upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) crosses, Baimian2 × TM-1 and Baimian2 × CIR12. QTL for ea...
متن کاملRNA-Seq Transcriptome Profiling of Upland Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) Root Tissue under Water-Deficit Stress
An RNA-Seq experiment was performed using field grown well-watered and naturally rain fed cotton plants to identify differentially expressed transcripts under water-deficit stress. Our work constitutes the first application of the newly published diploid D5 Gossypium raimondii sequence in the study of tetraploid AD1 upland cotton RNA-seq transcriptome analysis. A total of 1,530 transcripts were...
